Trip Overview

Ponkapoag Pond lies between Canton Rte138 & Randolph Rte28. An uninhabited, clean, hidden, good size pond for learning or exploring with a walk in launch and some parking. Approx 1 1/4 mi in length and 3/4 mi wide with a few places to explore and many places to beach. It is part of the Blue Hills Reservation so there are no homes built on or near. With the exception of an occasional plane you could imagine you are anywhere. I'm just not sure how many know of this urban gem.
